Rajasthan government is giving scholarship of Rs 12000 per year to 8th class students. Candidates can apply online for National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme Selection Test 2024. You can apply online for Rajasthan NMMS Scholarship 2023 from 20th September to 12th October 2023. See online application process below
This scheme was started in May 2008. It is operated and implemented by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi. Rajasthan State Council of Educational Research and Training (RSCERT), Udaipur is its state nodal officer. Its operation and monitoring at the state level is done by RRSP Udaipur.
For this, students studying in eighth class this year can apply. Online applications for National Means cum Merit Scholarship 2023 has started from 20th September 2023. The last date for online application for National Means cum Merit Scholarship 2023 is 12th October 2023. This exam will be held on 19 November 2023.

Application Fee
There is no application fee for National Means cum Merit Scholarship 2023.
Exam Pattern
Mental Ability Test (MAT): This test tests the reasoning ability and critical thinking of the students through 90 multiple choice questions. Most of the questions can be based on topics like similarity, classification, numerical series, pattern perception, hidden figures etc.
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT):It will consist of 90 multiple choice questions from class VII and VIII level science, social studies and mathematics subjects.
After the examination result, it is necessary to appear in the district merit list to be eligible for scholarship. Applicants have to obtain minimum 40% marks in the examination. The minimum marks for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates has been kept at 32%. Whereas candidates belonging to disabled category have been given 3% reservation in their category as per rules.
How to Apply Rajasthan NMMS Scholarship 2023
First of all, read the official notification carefully.
This examination is conducted only once and the scholarship is available for 4 years.
Online application will be filled by the head of the institution through Shala Darpan.
For this scholarship, people from the school to the head of the institution can apply online on the Shala Darpan portal till 12 October 2023.
After applying, take out the hard copy and bring the necessary documents.
Make sure to get the signatures of the head of the institution and the student at the designated place on the application form.
The applications of the students successful in the examination will have to be preserved in the school for 4 years and the applications of the unsuccessful students for one year.
