Eligibility
The benefit of Rajasthan Kanya Sahyog Yojana 2023 will be given only to the original residents of Rajasthan.
The applicant for Rajasthan Kanya Shadi Sahyog Yojana 2023 will be the parent or guardian of the marriageable girl child.
The Sahyog and Uphaar Yojana 2023 has been implemented only for the marriage of any 2 female children of 18 years or more.
BPL families of all classes are eligible for Rajasthan Kanya Shaadi Sahyog Yojana 2023.
Antyodaya families of all classes are also eligible for the Rajasthan Sahyog Evam Uphaar Yojana 2023.
Aastha card holder families are also eligible for Rajasthan Kanya Shaadi Sahyog Yojana 2023.
Under this scheme, the eligibility for grant for the marriage of the daughter of such economically weak widow women has been kept as follows.
A woman whose husband has died and has not remarried.
The annual income of the widow should not exceed Rs.50000 from all sources.
There should not be any earning member in the family who is 25 years of age and above.
A marriageable girl child whose both parents have died and a guardian widow who takes care of her can apply. The annual income of the guardian should not exceed Rs.50000 from each source.
An application can be made by a guardian for the marriage of a marriageable girl whose parents are not alive and the income of any member of the family does not exceed Rs.50,000 per annum.
For the marriage of girl children, assistance grant amount has been received for the marriage of the widowed daughter under the cooperation scheme run earlier by the state government. Those female children will also be considered included in the maximum number of children in this new scheme.
Documents Required
Photocopy of Original Residence Certificate/Voter ID Card/Ration Card.
Bank account number and passbook photo copy.
Aadhaar Card and Jan Aadhaar Card.
Marriage Certificate.
Educational qualification certificate.
Caste certificate.
Affidavit.
Birth proof of the bride and groom.
Death certificate of parents in case of death of parents of marriageable girl child.
Photo copy of husband's death certificate/Widow Pension Scheme (PPO) in case of widow.
BPL Card Antodaya Card / Aastha Card.
In case of marriage of daughter of economically weak widow woman-
(a) Widow woman/guardian's certificate of annual income not exceeding Rs.50,000.
(b) 25 years in the family Document of not being an earning member above the age of 30 years / copy of ration card.
Application Process Guidelines
Online application can be made on the departmental SJMS portal for receiving assistance/grant amount one month before the fixed marriage date or six months after the marriage date.
The application will be disposed of by the concerned officer within a maximum period of 15 days.
On receipt of complete application for marriage, the correctness of the application can be confirmed by the District Magistrate himself, if required / in case of doubt.
In case the application is received after the marriage, the marriage registration certificate will necessarily [be attached to the application.
Applicant has to attach self attested photocopy of BPL card as proof of being BPL selected family and must mention selected list number.
In case the applicant belongs to the Antyodaya family, a self-attested photocopy of the Antyodaya card will have to be attached.
In case the applicant is a faith card holder, a self-attested photocopy of the faith card will have to be attached.
(a) If the applicant receives widow pension, the following documents will also be attached with the application form-
1. PPO of widow pension
2 .Income certificate.
3.Certificate of the age of the eldest son among the members mentioned in the ration card. (b) In case of not receiving the widow pension, the following should be attached with the application form. Documents will also be attached-
1.Death certificate of husband
2.Income certificate
3.Certificate of age of the eldest son among the members mentioned in the ration card.
Urban/Rural applicants will submit their applications online on the departmental SJMS portal.
All the documents to be attached with the application form by the applicant will be submitted in self attested copies.
Income certificates of the bride and groom, if they have gone to school. Then the school certificate or the certificate of the girl's name being mentioned in the voter's list or the self-attested copy of the ration card will be valid.
The sanctioned grant amount will be withdrawn by the district officer and the grant amount will be deposited in the applicant's bank account in his name.
The District Magistrate will send a congratulatory message to the applicant along with a copy of the acceptance from the Honorable Chief Minister, Rajasthan.
How to Apply
First of all visit the official website of Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
After this all the guidelines related to Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana 2023 have to be read carefully.
After this the candidate has to visit the SSO portal and login with his/her SSO ID.
If the candidate does not have the SSO ID, then he has to register first and then login.
After this click on the SJMS SMS icon. Then Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana 2023 has to be selected.
After this click on New User. After this all the information asked in the application form has to be filled correctly.
After that upload the required documents, photo and signature.
All the details have to be filled correctly as per the given guidelines and at the end take a print out of the application form and keep it safe with you.
