OMR Guideline for Upcoming Exam Conducting by RPSC (25 August 2023)
In the objective tests, 5 options will be given for each question. Candidate has to darken ONLY ONE of the 5 circles on the OMR sheet with BLUE BALL POINT PEN indicating the correct answer. It will be mandatory to fill one option for each question. If the candidate does not want to answer the question, then the 5th option has to be filled by selecting Question Not Attempted / Unanswered question. For not selecting any option, 1/3rd of the question marks of such question will be deducted. If any option is not selected by the candidate in more than 10 percent questions, he/she will be considered ineligible for that examination.
Additional time of 5 minutes will also be given to the candidates to ensure that all the questions have been filled by selecting any one option.
Candidates will have to hand over the completed OMR sheet to the invigilator at the end of the examination. The invigilator will deposit the original copy with him and carefully separate the carbon copy and give it to the examinee. The candidate will be able to take this carbon copy with him. Till the completion of the selection process, the candidate will have to keep this carbon copy safe and will have to present it on demand by the commission.
