Objective of Devnarayan Scooty Yojana 2023

• Objective: To develop students interest in education and foster a competitive spirit.
• Targeted Students: Students belonging to the most backward classes, including Gurjar and five other communities in Rajasthan.
• Benefits: Provision of scooters to students appearing for the 12th-grade examinations conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education or the Central Board of Secondary Education, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate degree examinations conducted by universities.
• Encouraging Competition: Promoting a sense of competition among students by incentivizing them to achieve higher scores in exams.
• Promoting Higher Education: Attracting students towards higher studies and providing them with transportation facilities for pursuing higher education.
• Financial Assistance: Providing economic support to students through the provision of scooters.
• Empowering Marginalized Communities: Empowering students from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue higher education and improve their prospects.
• Enhancing Accessibility: Improving access to education and reducing transportation barriers for students, particularly from marginalized communities.
• Promoting Equality: Promoting equal opportunities for education and reducing educational disparities among different social groups.
• Overall Development: Fostering an environment conducive to academic growth, competitiveness, and holistic development of students.

Devnarayan Scooty Yojana 2023 Eligibility

• The scheme is specifically targeted towards students belonging to the most backward classes, including Gurjar and five other communities, in Rajasthan.
• Eligibility Criteria: The student must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan and enrolled in regular studies in departments of Rajasthan Government Universities/State-Funded Universities, Agricultural Universities/Agricultural Colleges, Sanskrit Universities/Sanskrit Colleges.
• The annual income of the students parents/guardians/caretakers/spouse should be less than INR 2,50,000 (two lakh fifty thousand rupees).
• The scheme provides benefits to unmarried, married, widowed, and abandoned female students.
• Students who are already receiving financial assistance or any other form of scholarship for higher education under the Devnarayan Student Higher Education Financial Aid Scheme are not eligible for scooters or monetary incentives under this scheme.
• Students in the 12th grade (Secondary) and those in the regular first year of undergraduate studies, final year of undergraduate studies, and the regular first year of postgraduate studies are not eligible for the scheme if there is an interval (gap) between their studies.

Devnarayan Scooty Yojana 2023 Required Certificate

• Self-attested receipt of fee payment for admission in departments of Government Universities/State-Funded Universities, Agricultural Universities/Agricultural Colleges, Sanskrit Universities/Sanskrit Colleges.
• Self-attested copy of the mark sheet of the previous years qualifying examination.
• Self-attested copy of the original residence certificate issued by a competent officer.
• Self-attested copy of the special backward class certificate issued by a competent officer for the Most Backward Class.
• Annual income certificate of the students parents/spouse/guardians/caretakers, not more than six months old. In the case of parents/spouse not being present or the student being abandoned, the income certificate of the guardian/caretaker will be considered valid.
• Self-attested copy of the passbook of the students Nationalized Bank Savings Account, clearly indicating the IFSC code.
• Self-attested copy of the Aadhaar Card.
• The Jan Aadhaar Card must be issued, and online applications without the Jan Aadhaar Card will not be accepted.
• Sworn affidavit stating that the beneficiary is not availing any other form of scholarship/benefit under any scheme.

• Copy of the students previous years mark sheet.
• Photograph and signature of the student.
• Jan Aadhaar Card and Aadhaar Card number.
• Name of the educational institution and course in which the student is currently studying.
• Receipt and details of the current course fees being paid.
• Proof of the students original residence.
• Caste certificate.
• Family income certificate.
• Information or passbook of the students own bank account.

How to Apply Devnarayan Scooty Yojana 2023

• Visit the SSE Portal and log in using your SSE ID.
• If you dont have an SSE ID, create one first and then log in.
• Update your SSE ID profile with your name, date of birth, mobile number, Jan Aadhaar ID, Aadhaar number, etc.
• Log in again with your SSE ID.
• Click on the Scholarship icon in the Citizen App.
• Select the Student option and click OK.
• You will see the names of all the members linked to your Jan Aadhaar Card. Select your name as the applicant and click OK.
• Enter your Aadhaar number and verify it with OTP.
• Fill in all the information requested in the application form accurately.
• Upload the proof of your original residence and income certificate.
• After filling in all the details, click on Submit.
• Go back to the Scholarship option and click on New Application.
• Verify it with OTP.
• Select the Devnarayan Scooty Yojana 2023.
• Fill in all the information requested in the application form accurately. Upload your previous years mark sheet.
• If you have taken admission in the first year after the 12th grade, fill in the details of the fee payment and upload the receipt.
• After completing the application form, take a printout for future reference.
